Peggy was, for once, dressed up not so dissimilarly from the attire of her own era. She was in a getup that would not have looked out of place at a work holiday party. Only rather than the winter holidays, they were here to celebrate in the balmy heat of the most American holiday there was.
And also, mostly appropriately, the birth of Steven G. Rogers.
She made her way across the party, smiling and nodding at the other partygoers. Her stroll ended at the side of her co-conspirator, who was standing near the food table. Peggy's signature red lips curved into a smile as she greeted the other woman.
"This is quite the shindig," said the brunette, with a complimentary nod around the space. "You ought to be very proud of your handiwork."
