"True.." Tonks nodded, "But if anything I thought he hated Dumbledore. Well, actually I just thought he hated, well, everyone really. But he does spend a good amount of time with him, and you how Dumbledore is about all of his professors.. He'd never let anyone teach at Hogwarts without being absolutely sure of their character.. It'd make sense." She blinked up at him then, snapping out of her thoughts and smiling brightly, "Oh! Remus Lupin. He--" is a werewolf, "Works in a bookshop." Close enough. Tonks grinned despite herself, just realising now how nearly that had come to just slipping out. If she and Lupin were going to be working together she needed to learn to keep her mouth shut on that fuzzy little detail. Or was it fluffy? "He's been helping me out on the case, what with Sirius randomly deciding to disappear and Lily.. And Lily having been preoccupied with Harry, he was the only one left that knew Pettigrew personally. I think he was in the old Order with Sirius and them, not to mention that from what he said he and Snape seem to uh.. Work together quite a bit. If anyone would know if Snape was the spy, it'd be him!"
Tonks gasped in outrage for the second time that night, but her rebuke died a very quick death when he kissed her again. She smirked against his kiss and drew away quickly in a feigned huff, turning her face away to hide the rush of blood that had coloured her cheeks and making a show of readjusting the strap on her shoulder. "For one, I do not, I repeat, do not drool. For two, I was the public in question, and I found it all to be very indecent. And if you must know." She looked at him from the corners of her eyes, "I barely noticed," she said while being fully aware that she'd already admitted otherwise in the past. Here was hoping the man was already going senile, "Whatever.. Effects you think your shirtlessness had on me were totally the effects of... Of uh.. Of um. Of my previous night. Hang over. Clearly."
