Trying to make sense of it Who: Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks What: A meeting to discuss the missing James Potter When: Sunday, 1pm Where: Lupin/Black flat Warnings: none
Remus paced the flat, as he was often wont to do. Though he'd barely lived in the flat for a month, there were spots on the floor where his path was beginning to show signs of wear. It really was the best way to work out problems, though, even if his friends found it tiresome.
He was pacing today because he was awaiting the arrival of Tonks to discuss plans for locating James. Tonks was witty and reminded him of Sirius, but her manic energy made him a little nervous. There was also the issue of the fact that he was unsure of her awareness of his...condition. Sirius never told people without his permission, but he figured Tonks would know by now, or at least have an idea of it. He was trying to figure out a way to slip it into conversation without a. making a total non-sequitor and causing tension. b. making her uncomfortable or feel threatened c. make a total fool of himself in front of a pretty girl who probably already found him scrawny and awkward.
Flopping down on the couch before his legs gave out from pacing, he slung a hand over his eyes to block the growing head ache he was giving himself and he waited.
