Lily hadn't been much better off than Remus, she'd tried to sleep but ever since the news had 'broken' in the Daily Prophet she'd either been too enraged or annoyed to do much of anything other than clean. They'd sent several owls, and she'd sent each one of them back with a rather nasty statement they had refused to publish much to her dismay.
She heard the knock at the door, looking at the tea tray set out in the living room as she made her way to the front door-- she had to admit she was rather happy to see Remus-- if even for a short time. She hugged him as he passed, noticing that he looked just as bad as she felt. "Thanks for coming." she whispered, stepping into the living room and moving to sit as they waited for Harry. She couldn't help but stare into the distance at their wedding pictures hanging on the wall. It added insult to injury.
