She smiled against his chest and her heart skipped a beat as he leaned into her. She hadn't danced with a boy like this before. The one last year, from Durmstrang, had been an energetic dancer, and even in a slow dance, had moved quickly. She had never been quite so close to a boy this way, and she found she could feel him breathing, and hear his heart beating in her ear. She smiled more, "Sorry," she said starting to laugh quietly, "I didn't mean to imply that he intimidated you, but it would make sense. He can be quite...powerful in a way. It might be from his father," and she sighed.
"I don't want to think about him. And you are the better person," she said, settling into him more and putting her arms around him as she felt herself melting and relaxing more into him, "But can I ask you something? What about Daphne? You know she is my very good friend. If you like her I certainly wouldn't want to interfere," Pansy said, wondering if he did like Daphne more than he like her. Pansy would never betray Daphne; Daphne was far more safer as a friend than an enemy.
