Tonks actually felt her blood pressure skyrocket when she saw that confident and smug sonofabitch look on Lestrange's face. If she thought she could reach him she would have absolutely loved to do nothing more than claw that triumphant look right off his handsome face. Argh, his face, his face. Tonks growled up at him for enjoying her torment so, but didn't move when he reached for her. The Auror froze in place, watching the man steadily and trying to figure out what he was up to, and trying as best she could to ignore her suddenly racing pulse.
"I know you did and that's what drove me insane. Every time you smile like that I feel like you can see right through me, and I hate it because I know I'm not meant to be thinking these.. things." Oh my God, Oh my God, she just couldn't stop. Shaking her head, Tonks was absolutely horrified to see long dark hair brush in front of her eyes. Her heart sank in her chest. Dark hair. Shorter height. Smaller frame. Tonks suddenly had a very horrifying idea of what it was Rodolphus was suddenly staring at.
If there was anything suspicious in his voice, Tonks completely missed it, her current priorities shifting towards going somewhere safe and dark before anyone could see her in this.... State. "God yes." She breathed, "Outside is good. I like outside. Outside, very good." Duty and post be damned, this was a bloody emergency.
