Tonks choked back a laugh, "Any particular reason for that not getting out much or just an unfortunate side effect of your night faring ways?" Despite her personal hatred of MLE's monkeysuit, Tonks actually bristled at his comment, turning a red nearly as bright as her robes. "Like that what, exactly?" She huffed. He wasn't allowed to agree with her, damnit! And something about the way he was looking at her made her downright violent. "These are.... These are a classic, thank you. They're extremely... Roomy?" Was that even a compliment when it came to clothes?
Okay. The passing comment she could take. But oh, sure she looked ridiculous, but damnit he wasn't meant to be the one saying it! ...And goddamnit it'd be easier to think of a retort if the man didn't look the way he did. And by Merlin was this actually bothering her? Hiding her blush by trying to sink deeper into the shadows of her robes, Tonks folded her arms across her chest. "I told you, if you're ever interested in MLE, we're always up for new subjects for Target Practice. And I don't think you'd take very well to our department's policies on make up, anyway." No matter what he'd screamed, Tonks still thought Moody looked absolutely adorable after she and a few other trainees had been through with him when he passed out that one time in the break room.
Shoving her nose in the air, Tonks gladly took the drink from him, downing its contents. "It is. Not only does MLE seem to be conspiring to drive me insane with you, the Universe as a whole is in on it now."
