Lucius turned to Rodolphus before he moved he and Narcissa away, "Owl me Rod, will you? I feel the supreme urge to hold my wife in my arms at the moment. Be good, Bella," he said with a smirk, and he felt her follow at his side.
They stepped together into the crowd, and he turned to face her and let his hands guide her into the slow dance. His hand was at her waist, and then moved to the side of her back, and he felt his feet begin to move slowly, as he led her into the dance steps.
"I did not lie, Narcissa, when I said you looked lovely. That dress," he said, a smirk playing on his lips, "It is perfect selection for the fall. You make me think of Autumn harvests and the leaves turning, gold and red and brown," he said, his mouth moving closer to her ear, "My treasure, really," and he pulled back to look into her face and the smirk spread into a large grin.
He let the music guide them more, enjoying this solitary moment with her before he knew he needed to speak to her of more serious topics.
