Lucius let his fingers find her own and he thread them through hers, and they walked along the street, heading towards the tea shop. He didn't rush their steps, nor give a backwards glance to the dissipating crowd. When they reached Madame Puddifoot's door, Lucius opened it for Narcissa and followed her in.
They were seated and a round witch approached them, with a tea tray and a tri-level plate, loaded with goodies.
"What's happened? There was such a sound, and some people were rushing about. Is everything okay out there?" the woman asked quizzically, blinking her large eyes at them for answers.
Lucius waved a hand at her, "It was some sort of scuffle, nothing for we good citizens to become involved in," he said, and he watched as she poured out tea for both he and Narcissa. When she'd left, he leaned across the table and reached for one of her hands, his eyebrows frowning slightly.
"I don't like that you were so close to where it all happened. If you had been closer, you could have been injured," he said, his eyes on her face.
