Oliver listened closely and watched as Theodore pulled out the list. Okay, that boy might be a bit obsessed and Oliver had to know what obsession was like because he was suffering a rather severe case. But after all he had been on the Quidditch team and he had captained it and now it was his job but for someone that wasn’t even playing this was…he didn’t even know what it was. “Yes, history of magic tends to be boring.” He agreed, knowing he’d barely ever paid attention to it back in school.
His eyes scanned over the list, pausing on this and that mistake for a little longer, as if he was trying to remember if he had noticed it as well. Once he had finished with his reading he briefly ran his tongue over his chapped lower lip and nodded. “What’re you gonna do after lunch?” he asked. He couldn’t help but be interested in the kid now. He had said he didn’t play but he had seen a few things most people wouldn’t notice through a game and Oliver would like to discuss it further.
Malfoy was a fool if he was going to turn Theodore down if he offered to help him. Slytherin could definitely need the help and that Theodore kid was good. sure, the list wasn’t perfect; there had been more mistakes and a few things Theodore had called mistakes were actually totally fine to do but it was a really good start and if Theo looked into it a bit more…Slytherin might be getting tough after all.
