Wonderful. Back to their old tricks. Remus would be polite and civil. After all, they were adults, and Remus wouldn't be defined by his friends. He loved James and Sirius because of their loyalty and kindness towards him, not because of how they treated Snape.
"Thank you for agreeing to meet with me," he said, sitting down opposite Snape's desk. "I've come to ask a favor of you and I don't expect you'll be eager to oblige, but I'll ask anyway and hope that we can work out some sort of agreement. I'm sure you've heard rumor of this new potion they've discovered called the 'Wolfsbane Potion'? I was fortunate enough to be part of a trial run of it and it's a truly incredible invention. This potion allows the transformed werewolf to keep his or her mind intact during the change."
He looked down at his hands and shrugged slightly.
"I've come because the potion is very technically demanding and expensive to purchase from conventional sources. I'm not capable of brewing it myself and I cannot afford to purchase it from those willing to brew and sell it. I was hoping you and I could work out a deal, because, in all seriousness, Snape, this potion is potentially life-changing and I'm incredibly eager to get my hands on a steady supply."
