"No, I understand," Remus said. "No one really likes to be alone all the time. Trust me on that one. I've been there. And don't worry about James. If he gets riled up about it, tell me and I'll put him straight."
He gave a sad sort of shrug.
"Wars end, people don't know how to move on. It's been, what, thirteen years now? More? And I still talk about it like it was yesterday. And in some ways, it feels like it was. You should go see him. He could probably use a reminder about how long it's been."
