"I won't," he assured her. "I heard about that shindig the Ministry is throwing. The article in the Prophet mentions me as a potential guest. I had a bit of a laugh over that one. It's not likely. They generally don't invite werewolves to these types of things in the first place, and now I'm on their troublemaker list. I barely got an invite to the memorial after the war ended and that's when I was really listed as a hero."
He offered a small smile.
"It's okay though. I'm used to it. And anyway, I hate big parties. Too much noise and I don't get drunk easily, so the champagne is just wasted on me. Good metabolism and all."
An eyebrow was raised.
"A girlfriend, huh?" he asked, grinning. "Well, Master Potter is taking after his father, I suppose. Hopefully he hasn't figured out the trick to bypassing the girls' dormitory trick stairs. Then again, James probably let that secret slip already."
