Pansy breezed into the Slytherin common rooms, feeling boosted and content. Classes were a very nice distraction; challenging enough to peek her interest but not too overwhelming in the work department, even with homework in all of her classes. She came in, and surveyed the crowd and decided she'd sit on the couch, in her favorite spot. She could see the top of a head at the other end of the couch, and she was pleased he'd picked the other end although she let not a trace of that show.
She took the seat with a happy sigh, and placed her bag next to her, and carefully pulled out a deck of tarot cards before placing the bag at her feet on the floor. She removed them from the box, and began to examine them, carefully turning each one over in her hands. It was a new deck for her, one she'd had her eye on but her parents had chosen not to buy her until just before school. Her delight had been great, and she'd barely had time to spend with them, to relish the fine details. She was enthralled, but not enough to not notice the boy, rifling through a magazine. She gave him a glance, and turned her attention back to her cards.
