Ron had caught Mora's look, and had not looked away immediately. Daphne's words cut in, and he realized that he'd been staring and his cheeks colored as he quickly looked down, and then back up. He felt like he'd been caught doing something wrong, which he knew he hadn't and it gave him some new confidence.
"Out of place? I do school work as well," he retorted, scoffing slightly as he patted his bag, "I wasn't trying to listen in. What would I want to learn about arthimancy for?" he said again, blustering slightly as he tried to cover up his embarrassment. He couldn't think why he hadn't looked away from the Ravenclaw girl; he'd just sort of got caught up, trying to determine what color her eyes were from the distance. His eyes shifted to the Slytherin girl's and he sort of smirk, "You could actually help me, Daphne. What is wrong with your Head of House?"
