What a day. Yesterday had been great. Ciri and her friend had been baking and enjoying the evening. That night Calvin had cuddled with his wife and unborn child, feeling much better than he had in a long time. After that fever of his had gone away, he felt rather renewed. Today he felt like a cloud was hanging over the entire school. Attacks were never pleasant and the logical side of his brain wasn't so sure what to do. That, and Charlie seemed like he was on top of it.
So the biologist did what he was best at--second best at.
He did some research. Calvin asked various people and teachers who knew Shizuka if she had been acting strangely yesterday or in the recent days. No one had said anything of particular use other than describing that she was a dreamwalker. That was new and eventful. Calvin decided after that to take a quick trip to the library or some other dreamwalkers. They weren't all too helpful in giving information as much as the books were.
"Charlie," greeted the younger of the two men with a nod as he approached with a book under his arm. "I got some information on her gift. Did you know she can walk into other people's dreams? Hm." He held up the book for Charlie to see before stuffing it under his arm again. "You got anything?"
