Heath was... anxious. And he wasn't entirely sure why. It was just Sophia and her little girl coming over. It wasn't like he was meeting someone for the first time. Well, he was, her daughter, but still, why would a little girl intimidate him? Maybe it was because he was afraid he would look at her and feel guilty, guilty that her mother was here and she was here with her and they weren't with the little girl's father. Sophia had said that it had had something to do with him, the reason that she and her husband had split up, but she hadn't gone into detail about it, of course they hadn't really discussed much since she had been here, had they? Maybe tonight that would change.
With a pair of jeans and a button up shirt, which was brown, oddly enough, matching the both of them, Heath moved to answer the door when he heard the knock, looking just as handsome as he ever had. His feet were bare and his hair was a bit messy, but he had that same smile he always did, which really just made the man, and he flung the door open in a broad and sweeping gesture. "Enter, ladies." He said, winking at the both of them before closing the door behind them.
"Sophia, lovely as always." He said, and leaned in to press a kiss against her cheek. "And who is this little doll?" He asked, and crouched down so he was on Ella's level. "Wow. Aren't you just a heart breaker?" He smiled. "I'm Heath. And it is a pleasure to meet you." Even little girls liked it when boys flirted. He had learned that if he had learned nothing about little girls over the years.
