Ciri was in the middle of a happy dream where she was in the forest where she grew up, surrounded by her old friends. She missed them and maybe would take the baby to see them, if they were all right with the fact that she had reproduced with a human. In the dream, though, there were none of the worries for her, only smiles and laughter. She heard the crashes of various things falling to the floor and awoke with a gasp. Though she tried to reach for the lamp on the side to shed light on the situation, it was not where it usually was. "Calvin?" she asked and touched his shoulder to start to wake him.
His skin was so warm! It could not be natural because she knew what temperature his skin was all the time. Not to mention her hand came back damp from his perspiration and she became even more worried. Ciri slipped out of bed and attempted to find her way to the bathroom, taking ginger steps around the items on the floor. She flicked on the light before soaking a washcloth and bringing it back to Calvin. Everything being a mess confused her, but she had to focus on taking care of her husband. The cool washcloth met his forehead and she gently wiped the rest of his face. "Poor Calvin," she murmured as she brought the cloth down to his chest and shoulders.
What worried her most was that she had no idea how to help him. Maybe she needed to ask Go'al'enu for help, but he wouldn't be up at this late hour. She didn't want to leave him alone either, so she started to clean up the things scattered around in the apartment. If Calvin woke up and told her what he needed, that would be helpful. Right now she worried and tried not to panic.
