One arm supporting Shizuka half around the back, hand appropriately near her shoulder, the other wiped any coffee away onto a dry spot of his jeans. They were already ruined for the day, it didn't matter if he dried his palm off there. When he could safely assume he wouldn't be smearing coffee all over his distressed student, friend, and love interest, Jin-Sang lightly wiped a tear away from her cheek. This was definitely something he deemed acceptable where his siren's voice was concerned.
"Come on inside," coaxed the young man lightly while pushing open the gym door with his foot. He had just barely managed to turn the key in the door before Shizuka nearly knocked him down. Thank goodness for balance.
When the entrance swung open, JC walked Shizuka in slowly, letting the large aluminum gateway fall shut quietly. The pool area had a calming sound to it as the water moved quietly within its personal space. The filters whirred softly under the tiles on the floor and the fans moved in a rhythm overhead that left a soft swoosh and buzz behind. Jin-Sang gently brought Shizuka to the nearest bleacher and tried to sit her down while slowly sitting himself.
"It must have been frightening," said Jin-Sang quietly as he held her hand in one of his, left palm still upon her shoulder. "But I'm sure they spoke to him for a reason. I know you miss them, too. And that's okay." He gave a small smile while looking into her face. This wasn't a moment where any thought of their relationship occurred to him. All Jin-Sang wanted to do was make her feel better. "You can tell me about it, if you want. But whether you do or don't doesn't matter. It'll be alright. Trust me. You'll be fine."
