"I have no idea where I got it from." Rez admitted with a small shrug of his shoulders. "My parents were pretty much as normal as could be. They never did anything crazy in their entire life other than have me." He smirked. "Can't say I have ever been shot though. I have broken pretty much every bone in my body, however." And he was rather proud of that, as silly as that might sound, or as crazy, whatever the case may be.
"It's supposed to get better, like that's what inner beast control is about, but I've not really managed to get there just yet." He said with a small shrug of his shoulders. Disappointing, but he had come so far just getting off of drugs and accepting what he was and actually making an effort towards learning. He wasn't exactly open to the idea when he first got here and spent the first year he was here just trying to get his ass kicked out. It was amazing that he hadn't. "That's pretty cool. I mean.. sometimes I wish I could remember but only if I could control it. Otherwise... gross." Hyenas ate a lot of dead things and he didn't want to remember that, that was for sure.
"Yeah, I would give it a little while. Let them ease you into it. You don't wanna make it worse." Of course he wasn't one to talk. He had once suffered a concussion and still went to skate that same exact day later on in the evening. He never listened to what the doctors had to say. "I guess not. And even I don't really heal all that fast. Think it's cause I've abused my body a lot before this happened so.. didn't have a very good immune system beforehand."
He listened to her intently as she talked about the job. He found it rather fascinating, truth be told. "Wow. They go all out, eh?" But they probably had to. It was just crazy how it really was a lot like what they made it out to be in films and on television and stuff. "Did you ever get scared? Like was there ever a time when you thought they had found you out but it turned out they hadn't?" That had to be intense. He could almost feel his pulse pick up a bit just thinking about that kind of danger.
