The past couple of weeks had sort of been hell. First, there was the incident that led her to be here, and she was still worried about that, still scared that Christian was going to find out where she was and show up here and cause some trouble. And then Reggie had taken off and now that he was back... Well fuck, it was almost like being with Christian all over again.
To say that Ami had been depressed would be an understatement. She was sick all the time, not to mention hungry, and Reggie... Well he wasn't even Reggie anymore. And she had no idea how to fix that.
So she had just spent the past few days curled up in the bed in her room, enjoying the silence, enjoying the fact that she didn't have to worry about Damon busting in on her or her dad screaming at her for something she didn't even do. At least it was quiet here and there was always something to eat. Still, she couldn't help but to miss home.
She was feeling particularly dull and comatose today as she stared up at the ceiling in the room, her hand resting upon her stomach. And then there was a knock at the door followed by a voice. Arc? That was unexpected. Though whether it was the good sort of unexpected or the bad sort of unexpected, she wasn't quite sure yet.
Ami groaned a little as she pushed herself up to her feet and moved to open the door, wearing nothing more than an over-sized t-shirt and a pair of panties as she hadn't even bothered to go to class today. She looked tired, stressed out, and she knew it. And she definitely wasn't expecting for Arc to have the baby with her.
"Oh. Hi." Ami said, looking at the baby like it was some sort of foreign object she had never seen before. And really, truthfully, she had never been around babies that small. She had only ever been around toddlers, or older. "Do you need help with anything?" She finally said, then took a step back so that Arc could come in.
