"No problem." Eating his breakfast, Li nodded. "Maybe. . . We're not in someone else's bodies. Maybe we're just put into different bodies that don't exist." It was turning into a rather philosophical morning. "We go to a school for witches and vampires and demons. I don't think we can really say something's impossible," he pointed out.
"Maybe something happened. I mean, like, there was a genie at the school. Someone could have wished for something like this. . . Like to mess with people. Maybe there's gods that are bored or maybe we're all drinking drugs through the water. Who knows at this point." There could be a million and one reasons why this was happening, but Li wasn't about to stress over it. It happened and that was that. Whether or not there would be going back had yet to be seen.
