"It is easy!" he protested, feeling (for the moment) normal again. "That took less than a minute. You guys are like Congress in session when you go to the bathroom. I actually kinda expected couches and TVs in here." That would at least explain why women hung out in here so long, and always in groups.
"Yeah I wanna get outta here. If I never have to come in here again, I'll be too happy." Taking Denver's hand again, Eli led her back out into the hall, where some person he'd never seen before (but this one looking like an adult instead of all the teens running amok) was shouting at everyone to calm down and get back in their rooms and not to worry because it was a temporary situation. Of course, Eli noted, they didn't mention just how temporary it would be, or whether or not anyone knew what caused it.
"This is bullshit," he muttered to himself. "We're just supposed to sit in our rooms and wait it out? What the hell good is that gonna do?"
