"Ow!" Nathaniel whined, rubbing his arm but waking up a bit more. Remington sure didn't sound happy even though he should have. Grumbling and yawning and crawling out of the tent, Nathaniel felt weak and sleepy and didn't want to be out here. He wanted to be inside that tent and sleeping next to Remington, who looked very warm.
Standing up, he looked around the camp, nodding because this was exactly what he imagined. This was how the television made it look. "They're soldiers," he explained, stifling another yawn. "Like you said you wanted."
