It was fine to say that they'd do whatever it took to stay together, to make this work, but they both knew that TJS had a way of ruining peoples' lives. So Fisher felt it necessary to look at his soon to be husband, really look at him, into those perfect blue eyes and those full, scowling lips, and that heart melting smirk. And he took that face in his hands, his thumbs brushing on James' cheeks, and Fisher smiled to himself because he had always teased he would cut himself on those cheekbones. "We're not just going to make it work," he promised softly. "It's going to be great. Because I'm not going to let this place do what it does to people. I dunno if it's the magic, or having so many people all in one place, but TJS has always had a way of making people lose their minds and act like sluts and ruin the good things they have. But I'm not gonna do that. No matter what. I know you trust me, but... I want you to know that I'm never gonna break that trust. Not ever."
