Keeping close to Lloyd, Brad tried keeping his gaze low as they headed out into the night. He really didn't want the random strangers recognizing him and possibly asking if everything had gone well with his "special meeting" backstage. It was bad enough that he could practically feel the gaze of some of the queens on him as he walked with Lloyd. No doubt theories were forming.
"You were good," Brad told Lloyd when they were outside, purposely avoiding the question of whether or not he'd enjoyed himself. "And the girl who was on after you was too." He had liked watching the performances, and that was enough for the moment.
Rubbing the back of his neck, Brad paused a moment before answering. "Uh, can I ask you something?" he said finally. "I don't mean to be offensive, it's just, well I kinda wanna get it out of the way. When you say the bakery is 'not like that', do you mean it's... well I guess I'm asking... um, is it as, uh... flamboyant as this place? I know it's gay friendly, but is it... well, gay?"
