Kael nodded his head. That seemed to make sense. "But aren't dolphins like.. friendly?" Of course he figured there might be other creatures in the ocean aside from just dolphins. That thought made him shiver a little. "I don't like water much." He'd almost drowned once when he was little. And even though he could handle it, like taking a shower and even spending a day at the beach, he wasn't much for being out in the open water and all that. The idea of being surrounded by all that darkness, the weight of the water pressing down on him, it was enough to give a guy nightmares.
"A doctor, huh?" He pursed his lips and thought about it. "That's cool. Gonna be a lot of hard work though." He didn't think he could be that dedicated, personally. But if she wanted to practice medicine, more power to her. She looked young, sure, but she could at least work in the supernatural world. Wow. It was strange thinking that there was this whole other world out there that he had never known anything about. "I.. have no idea. But I guess I have time to think about it. I mean.. I'm a senior this year. And then I can get some of my general studies out of the way before I declare a major so.. I can give it some thought." He shrugged. "Still trying to figure out what I'm good at, ya know?"
