Blushing deeply, Beth shook her head against Berta's shoulder, but she broke into a smile in spite of herself. Berta always seemed to know just the right thing to say. Ten seconds ago Beth thought maybe she was going to die from the wretched sadness, and now she was smiling and she felt happy. Actually happy. And relieved. She still had her best friend, and her best friend still thought she was hot. That last part wasn't a requirement, but it didn't hurt either.
Sitting upright, Beth tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, an eyebrow quirked at Berta. "You mean like...?" She wasn't really sure what Berta wanted to know, but she had an inkling, and it made her flush even darker. She hadn't thought questions would be asked about it. "W-well I haven't... had surgery or anything like that. I'm still... it just... it's all there." Biting her lower lip, she looked away, and giggled. "Omigod this is so weird..."
