This was something Lily loved, and had always loved, about Finn. He didn't ask her why she was in his apartment, how she'd gotten in, what she wanted. He just accepted that she was there and offered to feed her. He was exactly the kind of friend she needed right now. She wished there was something she could do to let him know she appreciated him, but right now she couldn't even think properly. She was too numb.
Hearing the shower turn on, Lily crawled off the bed and followed Finn into the bathroom, her bare feet silent as she padded across the tiled floor and climbed up onto the counter. Her knees drew up to her chest as she sat there, staring at the floor, waiting for him to come out. She didn't want to be alone right now.
