Who: Charlie and Trevor
When: Weekend
Where: Road Trip to Atlantic City
What: Gambling and an impromptu wedding
Charlie was wearing nothing but Trevor's shirt, a piece of fruit in hand, as she plopped down on the sofa next to him and stretched her long legs out across his lap. "So, what's the plan?" They'd already had sex multiple times in just about every location in the apartment they could think of to have sex since she'd arrived earlier in the day and now he was taking a break and playing some video games while she had a snack. "Are we gonna stay in all weekend and fuck like rabbits or do you wanna make go out and do something?" She paused and then added, "Ooohhhh, we could go on a road trip! I've never done that before." She'd never really been much of anywhere. And the idea of getting into a car and just driving some place crazy was pretty exciting, actually.
~~~
Trevor was more than relaxed at the moment, he was engrossed in his videogame and then looked at Charlie when she sat down with a grin. "Well at first the idea of just staying in all weekend and fucking like rabbits is awesome but...a road trip is sooo much better." He said as he paused the game and pulled her into his lap and kissed her softly. "Where do you want to go Red?" Trevor asked, way more interested in Charlie than what he was playing moments before.
~~~
"It is," Charlie agreed, a smile forming upon her lips. "I could never get tired of doing that with you." She wiggled her brows at him, but the smile grew when he seemed to latch on to the idea of the road trip, and she giggled when he reached over to pull her onto his lap, kissing him back deeply, lips tasting like the apple she'd be munching on which was now dangling in her hand out of the way. "Hmm, I dunno.." She shifted so that she was straddling him, kissing his neck. "People are always talking about Vegas but.. that's probably too far. It'd take forever to drive there and if we're gone for ages, the grown ups might freak out."
~~~
Trevor nodded and kissed her again. "Mmm no never ever get tired of that." He slid his hands over her back and then grinned at her. "Yeah that is really far away...and you technically you are a grown up. I still have the word teen attached to my age." Trevor nipped at her bottom lip and then tilted his head slightly. "Ummm we could go to Atlantic City, it's like 6-7 hours from here and its like Vegas...sorta." Trevor said as his hands slid onto Charlie's ass and squeezed.
~~~
"Never, ever," Charlie repeated, moaning softly into the kiss. She arched into his hands upon her back, practically purring at every stroke. "That and, you know, I should be.. in driving distance in case Mara needs me." That came with the territory of being a parent. Even though she had her own life, which was great, she had to keep in mind that she could be needed at pretty much any given time. "Really?" She grinned. "That's the place that was in that movie, with the pier and stuff where they did the diving horses." It had been one of her favorites when she was younger. "I'd like that." She paused and then added, "Although, if you keep touching me like this, we may never make it out the door." She grinned and then pressed a warm, deep kiss against his lips.
~~~
Trevor held on tight to her and rested his forehead against hers as she talked about Mara. "I know you need to stay close to Mara and I understand that." He said softly, lightly kissing her forehead. "Yea that's the place." He said softly and then stroked her hair. "We can go on rides, eat carnival food...do more adult things..." Trevor nuzzled her neck as she talked and then looked at her when she teased him about not getting out the door. "Hey wait...how are we gonna pay for it?" He asked.
~~~
"Oooohhh. That sounds like fun!" Charlie had never done anything like that before. It sounded perfect. Absolutely perfect. Like a grown up amusement park or something. "Especially the adult things," she grinned, nipping lightly at his ear as she rocked slightly against his lap, tilting her head to expose more of her neck to him. "Uhm... I have a credit card." Charlie grinned sheepishly. "It's supposed to be for emergencies but... sounds like an emergency to me, right?"
~~~
Trevor laughed and shrugged slightly. "I assume it is fun, I've never been there but it looks like it would be amazing." He said softly as he ran his fingers over her cheek. The way he felt about Charlie was so crazy, he loved her and his family wasn't happy about it...but that didn't matter to Trevor, he was happy and they were wrong about her. He groaned softly as she rocked on him. "You have a card...I assume Riley pays for it." He asked with wide eyes.
~~~
"Of course it will be. We'll be there together." Charlie smiled brightly. She closed her eyes as he touched her cheek, nuzzling her face against his hand. It didn't matter to her who did or didn't like their relationship. No one had ever made her feel the way that Trevor did, Riley included. He was great and all, Riley, but he didn't make her feel... normal, not like Trevor did. And for a girl who had always felt anything but that, it was definitely a nice change. "Well, yeah, he does. He pays for everything."
~~~
Trevor smiled wide at her and nodded. "Yeah we will have a good time no matter what." He said, knowing it was true, he and Charlie always had a great time together. "You're lucky that he does, lucky that he cares for you enough to take care of you like this....wish it was me who could take care of you this way." Trevor said as he tucked Charlie's red hair behind her ear. "I love you...as crazy as it is." He kissed her and then grinned. "Let's pack some stuff and go!"
~~~
Charlie knew that she was lucky. Definitely. If she had never met Riley.. well her life would be a bit old mess of suck. But she had and she was glad for it every single day. That said, however, "You do take care of me, Trevor. Maybe not.. financially or whatever but...." She smiled softly and added, "In other ways." Of course those words were a bit unexpected and she barely had time to actually digest what he had said before she was being kissed and then told to pack so they could go. "Wait!" Charlie said, squaring herself on his lap. "You can't just... blurt that out and then be all... let's leave! I need to like.." She exhaled a breath and smiled. "I mean I know we said just the other day that we were going to let ourselves just... go there but... we didn't actually say it and..." She licked her lips and then bit the lower one for a second before she finally just spit it out. "I love you too."
~~~
Trevor tilted his head a bit as she was talking, a smile spreading over his face. What Charlie said to him meant a lot. He bit his lip trying not to grin at her reaction to him telling her he loved her. "I couldn't help it...it just felt right." He said softly as he took Charlie's hands in his. Charlie looked so beautiful like this, she was a bit out of her element but she was taking it in stride; Trevor loved that about her, how she just took it all as it came and did her best to deal with it. It took more strength than she realized. When she said she loved him back he whooped and then stood up with her swinging her around, kissing her before putting Charlie down. "Best day ever so far, let's get ready to go and make it better."
~~~
That was not the reaction she had expected. She giggled madly as he picked her up and swung her around, the giggles fading out as he kissed her, her hands clutching at him as he did so, remiss to let go. Ever. She was all smiles when he pulled away, bright eyes peering adoringly into his own. "It can't get any bette," she decided, a smile upon her lips. "But I'm totally down for trying." And with that, she got on her feet to scurry off toward his bedroom so that she could get ready to head out. This was going to be so exciting!!!
~~~
It had been so long since Trevor had someone in his life that made him happy. Growing up it had been Adam, now not so much, but Charlie she made him happy and Trevor wasn't going to over think it, he was just going to go with it and enjoy their relationship. "We can try to make it better." He grinned and then headed to his own bedroom to pack a few things. It took Trevor no more than ten minutes to pack a bag, put on some clothes and shake his messy blonde hair into some type of style. "You ready to go Red?" He called out as he headed into the kitchen to throw some food and bottles of water in a bag.
~~~
Charlie didn't take all that long to get ready either. She tugged on the same dress she had had on earlier in the day, brushed her hair, and grabbed her bag that was already packed from where she had packed it to come over and spend the night. "Ready!" She grabbed another anpple and tossed it into the bag because they were juicy and delicious and then she paused, a frown pursing her lips. "Wait, what car are we taking?"
~~~
Trevor grinned at her when she walked out and then frowned slightly. "Well I do have a car I bought and started to fix up, I mean it runs just fine but the body work isn't finished so it's not all shiny and beautiful but it's functional." Trevor said as he rubbed a hand over his hair, messing it up adorably. "So we could take that, otherwise we will have to get to Riley's and get a car." He said with a slight smile.
~~~
Charlie quirked a brow slightly and then smiled. "Well as long as it runs, who cares what it looks like?" She laughed, sliding in close to him and pressing a soft kiss against his lips. "I'd love to ride in your functional yet not shiny and beautiful car, baby." She stole one of the bottles of water he was in the process of packing and then added, "Maybe on the way there we can christen the back seat."
~~~
Trevor shrugged as he grabbed a hoodie. "yeah it runs, no problems there." He said as he zipped it up and left Rez a note in case he came back before they did and held the door open for Charlie. "Oooh now that sounds like a lot of fun." He winked overdramatically at her and then locked the door after she came out and headed down the stairs.
~~~
"Then great! Problem solved." Charlie smirked. As he was leaving the note for Rez, she had to tease him. "Aww, such a good kid!" She giggled. "I'm so excited," she admitted as they headed out and down the stairs toward the garage. "I've never done anything like this before. I've never like.. been anywhere, really, you know? This is going to be.. so cool. I can't wait!" Her excitement showed. She was practically bouncing as she walked. "Oh my god, I'm so glad this phone has a camera on it because I am going to take pictures of everything. And we can play those games, like the license plate game and I Spy, while we're on the road, to make the trip go by faster. It's gonna be amazing!"
~~~
Trevor stuck his tongue out at Charlie when she teased him about the note and then rolled his eyes. "He worries what can I say." He joked and then headed into the garage to get the car. "You are going to fill that phone with pictures and then you're gonna need mine." He laughed and then unlocked his car and opened the door for her. "We can play whatever road games you want Charlie." He said softly and then kissed her cheek before she got in the car.
~~~
"Yeah, yeah. I get that." Riley would be worried out of his mind. But she had her phone. If he called, she'd tell him where she was. He wouldn't like it but.... whatever! "And that's why we both have phones." Charlie grinned. She squealed and clapped her hands when he said they could play whatever games she wanted, climbing into the car and settling down. This was going to be the best day ever. She was totally stoked.
~~~
Trevor opened the door to their hotel room and grinned as he looked around. It wasn’t as fancy as the one he was in with Jane but it was nice enough. Clean with a bed and a bathroom was all they needed. “Ladies first.” He smirked at her, following her in with their bags. He dumped them on the bed and then walked over to the windows and stared outside. “This town is crazy.” Trevor said with a laugh and then turned back to Charlie.
~~~
Charlie practically bounced into the room, flopping down on the bed for a moment and sprawling out on it, just to see if it was comfortable or not. She then moved over behind him at the window, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind and kissing on his neck. "I love it. It's so pretty. Look at all the lights! It looks totally exciting!" She nibbled on his ear, hands sliding up over his stomach.
~~~
The younger man laughed and agreed. “It does look exciting.” Trevor smiled as she slid her hands over his stomach. “But we should go out and do things before we get ourselves locked up inside this room like I know we are more than likely to do.” He turned in her arms and kissed her again. “So let’s go to the boardwalk first, eat some junk go on some rides then we can go into the casino.”
~~~
"Boo!" Charlie pouted a little as he turned around in her arms. "I can't help it if I'm insatiable, Trevor. I thought you liked that about me." Of course she was only teasing. She knew he loved it about her, but he was right. They should go out and do stuff. "Just one more kiss first. Pleeeeaaassseee?" She batted her lashes at him. "One more long, deep, hard kiss?" She wiggled her brows at him, hands sliding down over his ass and into his back pockets.
~~~
Trevor laughed and spun her around in his arms. “I love everything about you, you know that.” He smirked at her and then pulled her tight against him, kissing her hard and deep, his hands sliding under her ass as he held her tight. Charlie had him wrapped around her finger a little bit, maybe not fully but pretty good. “Mmmm yummy…” He murmured.
~~~
"Everything?" She asked, batting her lashes at him. Charlie had a habit of getting the men in her life wrapped around her finger pretty damn good. Most every guy that got close to her, she could wrangle from them pretty much anything she wanted. It was nice to know that Trevor was not an exception to that rule. She licked her lips and then agreed, "Mmm, very yummy." She squirmed out of his grasp. "Let's go. I want a funnel cake!" She hadn't had one since she was a child. "And definitely yes on the casino front. You can win big and buy me something sparkly." She smirked.
~~~
Trevor nodded at her and then tucked her hair behind her ear. “Yeah kinda.” He grinned at her and then let her go when she became extremely excited about funnel cake. “Alright let’s go.” He made sure he had the room key and headed out into the hallway pulling the door shut behind them. “Yeah only if you can see the outcomes so I can bet, otherwise I have terrible luck.” He slid his arm around her waist and walked with her, smirking when guys looked at Charlie. Of course Charlie could fuck any guy she wanted , Trevor didn’t care, but she was his girl and the other guys only got one night…if they were lucky to have her that long.
~~~
"Hmm.. I wonder if that would work." Charlie thought about it for a moment, lips pursed. She'd never even thought to try that before but.. maybe! As they headed out to the boardwalk, in spite of the fact that a woman like her got attention from men no matter where she went, she didn't even notice. Trevor was all she saw right now. Well, and the funnel cake stand. She steered them in that direction first thing. "What do you like on it? Fruit? Sugar and cinnamon? We can share." She put in their order and entertained herself while they were waiting by fondling and kissing on him and making everyone either envious of or sickened by the two of them.
~~~
“I don’t know you could always try a few times and see if you can do it.” He said before going down the hall and out onto the boardwalk. Trevor didn’t care what was on his, it was all good, so he let her order what she wanted and then happily played along with her, more than thrilled to make out with Charlie in front of the others. He smiled up at the girl when she said their order was ready and handed it to Charlie.
~~~
"We could do that." Charlie decided, giving a bit of a shrug. "I mean what do we have to lose?" Money, of course, but what was that worth really? Not much. And maybe they would win big! She liked things simple when it came to funnel cake. She just got the powdered sugar and cinnamon on it. And making out was fun! She liked it. She was a very touchy, feely person when it came to Trevor and since he didn't mind, why should she? "Thank you," she took the cake and then gestured for them to walk, strolling along the pier as they munched on the funnel cake which was so much better than she remembered them being. "Ooohhh, can we go on the ferris wheel? You aren't scared of heights, are you?"
~~~
Trevor enjoyed the cake and smiled at Charlie when she asked if they could go on the ferris wheel. “yeah we totally can, I’m not afraid of heights.” He licked sugar from her fingers with a grin and then started over to the ferris wheel. “I haven’t been on one of these in a long freaking time, Adam used to love going to fairs and stuff.”
~~~
Charlie leaned up to kiss away a bit of sugar and cinnamon from his lips. "Good. I haven't been to a fair since... Wow." She exhaled a soft laugh. "Before my mom even left." She pursed her lips in a bit of a frown. "Anyway, glad I'm here with you." She beamed a bright smile in his direction. "There's no one I'd rather do any of this with." She leaned up to kiss him again, pulling back with a hum before pulling back and shoving some funnel cake in his mouth, giggling and then taking the last bite for herself so she could toss the plate before they got on the ferris wheel.
~~~
Trevor smiled at her and kissed the top of her head as they walked. “I’m glad I’m here with you too.” He said before getting cake shoved into his mouth. Trevor chuckled once he wasn’t choking and then shook his head as they walked towards the ferris wheel. “Silly girl.” He murmured into her hair as they waited a few minutes in line before getting into their car.
~~~
"Your silly girl," Charlie remarked, giving him a kiss. He tasted like funnel cake and she liked it. She wrapped his arms around her as they waited, leaning back against him, enjoying just being here, in this moment, with him. Finally they began loading and they were the last ones in a car so the ride began right away. The ferris wheel went up high and you could see all along the boardwalk, all down the shore, out into the ocean. She closed her eyes to the breeze, inhaling deeply the scent of saltwater. She smiled and then remarked as she opened her eyes, "Best day ever totally keeps getting better and better." She exhaled a soft laugh, then scooted in close to him, snuggling with him for the ride.
~~~
Trevor nodded in agreement when she said she was his and rubbed his cheek against her soft hair, just taking in how good today was. Once they were in the car most of his enjoyment was looking at her and watching how she reacted to it all. “It really does keep getting better and better.” Trevor said as he looked out over the boardwalk. “I don’t even care if we get in trouble for this, it was so worth it.” He happily cuddled her against him as he laced their hands together.
~~~
"What's the worse they can do? Scowl at us?" Charlie giggled. They were both adults. They couldn't exactly be grounded or whatever. Sure, Riley was legally her guardian and Trevor lived with Rez and there was a certain degree of respect that needed to be given but it was their lives! They should be able to do what they wanted. The ride was over far too soon and the car was stopped at the very top as they started to unload everyone. The view was beautiful and the moment perfect and so she just felt like she should say it again. "I love you, Trevor Reid." She nuzzled her nose against his own. "You're special."
~~~
Trevor nodded at her words. “Yeah that’s true, I mean we are adults.” He said as he looked out over the boardwalk. “But you know we are both going to have to sit through a lecture…from both of them…probably at the same time.” He laughed and then looked at her seriously for a moment. “I love you too Charlie Edwards…I’ve known you were special from pretty much that first moment.” Even with the blood on her or maybe because of it…who knew with his lion.
~~~
"It won't be so bad, especially if we have to go through it together." Charlie gave a small shrug of her shoulders. "Together makes everything better." She grinned. She decided she could never get tired of hearing those words, and she shifted to climb on his lap, the car swinging a bit as she did so, to kiss him deeply as the wheel jolted back into action, slowly making the way back down and pausing to unload a car now and then. She didn't really notice. She was enjoying kissing him far too much and didn't even realize they were at the bottom until she heard one of the people waiting to board the car clear their throat to get their attention.
~~~
Trevor nodded in agreement. “Yeah it won’t be too bad, Rez just won’t trust us alone anymore.” He chuckled and then wrapped his arms tightly around Charlie as she climbed into his lap. This totally wasn’t safe but…he liked it anyways. Trevor was kissing her back, nipping at her bottom lip not noticing a damn thing until someone cleared their throat them. “Oh..I think it’s time to get off the ride.” He said with a smirk.
~~~
"Like he does right now." Charlie rolled her eyes. She was shocked he was giving them a weekend alone but it was probably less to do with them and more to do with trying to cheer Trevor up about the stuff going on with Adam. And it seemed to be working. He had barely mentioned him at all. A grin tugged at her lips as Trevor spoke and she asked in a husky voice, "Which ride?" She giggled and then kissed him once more before climbing off of him and taking his hand, leading the way out of the car to a few glares and murmurs from the group that climbed in after them. "Where to now? More junk food? Rides? Some gambling?" She wriggled her brows at him.
~~~
“Uhhh no not at all.” He laughed and then wiggled his eyebrows at her. “So not safe but we should try that sometime before we leave. You wear a dress and I will just open my jeans when were going around and see if we can come before its over.” Trevor kissed her and then got off the car, ignore everyone because they weren’t important. “anything you want to do Red, I’m more than happy to do any of it.”
~~~
"Ooohh. I would love to." Charlie grinned wickedly and wiggled her brows at him. "That's definitely on our list. Before we leave. But not too much before in case we get caught." That way, if they were to get booted out of here, they wouldn't miss out on all the phone. "Let's go... try our luck and see what happens." Charlie was down for testing out this idea, seeing if they could use her gift to make a bit of money. So she headed toward the casinos, buying a few tokens once they were inside that they could use on either the games tables or the slots. "You wanna try slot machines first?"
~~~
Trevor grinned as he nodded. “yeah but definitely at the end of the trip not the beginning.” He followed her into the casino, not minding what she chose to do. “Sure, maybe you can find us a lucky one.” He laughed as the walked, fingers still linked together. Trevor stopped by the rows of machines and looked at Charlie for a moment.
~~~
"Hmm, just give me a minute..." Charlie bit her lower lip, looking along the lines of machines, trying to focus. And then it came to her, the vision of them winning. She could see the huge smile on Trevor's face, hear the sound of the bell going off overhead that signaled they'd hit the big jackpot on that one. She opened her eyes and then glanced around until she spotted the one. "Over here. This one. This is it."
~~~
Trevor waited patiently as Charlie tried to figure out which machine for them to go to. It didn’t actually take her very long to decide on one and he followed her over. “this one?” He asked as he handed her a token. “You play it Red, see what we get.” Trevor said with a smile, kissing her cheek.
~~~
"Okay..." Charlie felt nervous about it. She put in the token, pulled the handle, and it was NOT a winner. She frowned a bit, looking at it like it had done something wrong. "Maybe we should.. try again?" She took another token, put it in, pulled the handle, and nothing! "Well shit. I really thought this one was it...."
~~~
Trevor kissed her and shrugged. “Maybe it’s supposed to be me pulling it?” He asked as he put in the token and pulled the arm, grinning when the bell went off and a crapload of tokens flew out of the machine. “Holy crap!” He laughed and hugged her. “I’m kinda curious as to how much we just won…”
~~~
"Maybe..." She was trying to remember if he was the one who did it in her vision, but before she could figure that much out, he was putting in another token and the bells were going off like crazy. "Oh my god! You won!" Charlie squealed in excitement. "We won!!!!" She giggled, pouncing on him and hugging him tightly. "I dunno. Oh crap, that's a ton of tokens!!!" She started to gather them up into the token bucket, trying to do a mental count of them but she had no idea how much any of the different types were worth. "Should we cash it in? Should we keep going? We could keep going."
~~~
Trevor was helping her put the tokens in the bucket and then nodded. “Yeah it’s a ton, but I think we should keep going…or cash a lot of them in for larger chips so we aren’t carrying a huge bucket of chips around…or like cash in most of them I don’t know.” He laughed and smiled at the people who were cheering for them.
~~~
"Wait!" Charlie held up a hand. "Wait, wait, wait. Let me just... consult my magic mirror and... I'll figure it out." She smiled, taking a breath and squaring her shoulders before she closed her eyes, a slight frown pursing her lips as she concentrated. "Is there... a car here somewhere? Like.. a machine or a table where we can win one?" She started looking around, trying to spot what she'd seen in her vision just then.
~~~
Trevor shrugged and glanced around. “I don’t know, probably…I’m sure there’s something like that.” He said as he picked up the second bucket full of chips. “We can try over that way, I don’t see anything like that over here.” Trevor suggested.
~~~
"Okay," Charlie said, hoisting up the one bucket of chips and then laughing. "These are heavy. We should go cash some of them in." If they kept carrying them around, they were liable to drop them or strain their backs or something from the weight of them. "Maybe we can ask at the front or whatever."
~~~
Trevor smiled at her and nodded. "Yeah they really are." He headed towards the cash window to exchange his chips for cash. "Hey you could pay Riley back for this trip with someo of this money."
~~~
"Oh yeah, I totally could! And maybe even have a little left over for like.. souvenirs or something." Charlie shrugged, really having no concept of just how much money they had won. She had never had to be financially responsible in her life. She didn't even know how to be. So even when the guy started counting up the amount, the total rising higher and higher, she had no real idea of just how lucky they had struck it.
~~~
Trevor nodded in agreement and watched as the man counted their money. "Red...we are like...wow...we could get our own place with this money." He laughed as he grinned at the guy counting their money and congratulating them on winning two hundred thousand.
~~~
"Really?" Charlie asked, looking over at him. It was becoming increasingly clear that she had no idea that that was a lot of money. "Well, in that case, we should celebrate!" And now she was starting to get excited, now that it was sinking in that they had just landed a ton of cash. "Oh wow, we could do just about anything, couldn't we? What should we do?!?"
~~~
Trevor was stunned by that kind of money,sure Rez had that kind of money but he didn't. "Holy shit." He mumbled and then looked at her. "We pretty much could, so wanna go see if we can win some more stuff...get our room upgraded to one with a hot tub or something?"
~~~
"Ooooh, a hot tub!" That definitely sparked her interest. Hot tub sex was the best. And yeah, okay, maybe she fixated on sex a bit much but she liked it. She loved it. Especially sex with Trevor. "Let's.. explore a little. We can look around and see if maybe we can find that car thinggie that I... erm.." She glanced at the cashier guy and said, "Heard about." Then she paused and added, "Ooohhh! We could go shopping!"
~~~
Trevor nodded and then smiled at her. "yeah finding that car would be awesome, can you imagine driving back to Danvers in style instead of my beaten up junk car?" Trevor chuckled and then nodded. "Or we can go shopping, the more money we win the more shopping we can do Red."
~~~
"I love your old beaten up junk car," Charlie gave him a soft pout. "It's very you." She nuzzled her nose against his own and then grinned. "That's true. But.. let's explore first though. See what all they have. I don't wanna just stand around at the slot machines all night. I wanna do something exciting!!!"
~~~
Trevor grinned at her and shrugged. "Aw thanks...although I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not babe." He nodded in agreement. "I want to do something exciting too, I'm sure we can find plenty of things to do around here."
~~~
"It is! It has.. character, like you." Charlie smiled. "Imperfect but beautiful just the way it is." She gave him a quick peck of a kiss before glancing at the cashier, her eyes growing wide as the guy finally brought the money, complete in a case. "Oh wow. That really IS a lot of money!" She laughed. "Come on." She grabbed the briefcase and shoved it into his hands. "Let's roll." And she skipped off to go find some trouble for them to get into.
~~~
Trevor laughed and kissed her again. "Well I guess that's a compliment then." Trevor took the case and quickly followed after the redhead deeper into the casino to find some serious trouble to get into.
~~~
This place was crazy. It was like an amusement park for adults. There were rides, like the bull ride thing that Charlie decided to try out only to get thrown off in a matter of seconds, and there was booze everywhere, not that either of them really drank since Trevor wasn't old enough to drink here and Charlie wasn't going to drink without him, and there were half naked girls dancing around and it was just insane! And the shops. Oh my god, there were shops everywhere. And that was where they were right now, in a jewelry store that just so happened to be right across from The Little White Wedding Chapel. Charlie was looking at some cute charms at the moment, trying to figure out something super cute that Mara might like. But then she was distracted by the sounds of cheers and applause coming from across the way where a couple was coming out, looking all happy (and perhaps a bit drunk) after getting hitched.
~~~
Trevor had tried the bull as well, he lasted a little longer but his constant laughing kept him from hanging on very well. Once they were in the jewery store however, Trevor was kinda bored, he didn’t care about jewellery but he knew that Charlie did so he pretended by looking at the engagement rings and wedding bands because some were very spectacular. The salesgirl cooed at him saying it was so sweet of him to have his girlfriend here to pick out her own ring. Trevor looked up at her and then at Charlie with a slight smile. “You wanna pick out an engagement ring Red?”
~~~
Charlie hadn't really been paying attention to the conversation. Instead, she was looking over at the couple, a bit of a frown upon her lips. She heard his voice but didn't really hear the question, at least not at first. "What?" She asked, then replayed the question back in her mind to understand it. "Oh, uhm..." She looked down at the case that was in front of where Trevor was standing, then at the woman, and back at Trevor once more. "Let's do it," she said, the words shocking even herself. "I mean... we could, right? We could just... get married." She gasped a little. "We totally should! Like.. right now, tonight!"
~~~
Trevor watched her as she looked at the rings and then blinked at her idea. "You want to get married...right now?" He thought about it for a second and then shrugged slightly. "Yeah lets do it! That will be awesome!" He looked into the case. "But we need nice rings first.
~~~
"Why not?" Charlie asked. "I mean.. you love me, right? And we're happier together than apart and so...." She thought he was going to tell her no. But then he was talking about picking out rings and she smiled brightly. "Really?" She exhaled a breath and then grabbed him, planting a firm kiss upon his lips. "Now there will be nothing they can say or do to stop us from being together. Ever." She smiled, then glanced down at the rings. "I want a big one. But not tooo big, just... you know.. something to catch the eye." She giggled.
~~~
Trevor would have never said no to her, being maried to Charlie was an awesome idea. Yeah his family was going to skin him alive for it but it was what he wanted. "Of course really." He kissed her back and then leaned on the case. "Yeah you need something sparkly, I just want a nice solid band."
~~~
"Solid," Charlie repeated that word like she was trying it out. She smiled. "I like that word." She leaned her head on his shoulder and then pointed. "That one?" It wasn't terribly large, but not little either. Pear cut and in a white gold setting. "And look, matching bands." She smiled up at him. "You really wanna do this? Like.. really?"
~~~
"Thats a really pretty ring." He said as he rubbed his hand up and down her back. "Yeah I do want to, don't you?" He asked as he kissed the end of her nose and then nuzzled into her neck. "Perfect rings, I like those." he said softly.
~~~
"I do," Charlie said in a soft voice. "Oh my god, I'm going to be saying that for real in like... I dunno, soon!" She exhaled a soft laugh. "We'll take them. Well, if they fit." She frowned a little. "We should try them on, right? Right." She looked at the girl and smiled. "We'd like to try them on, see if they work." The girl was smiling at the both of them as she reached into the cabinet to pull the rings out. Of course on the inside she was thinking how ridiculous people were, especially young ones, and wondering how long this marriage would last. At least she'd get a good sale out of this.
~~~
Trevor laughed softly and nodded. "yeah we should see if they fit, before we buy them. I bet they both fit too." He said as he took the rings from the saleswoman not giving a shit what she thinks of them. He slid his own on and nodded at the fit and then took Charlie's hand and slipped both on her finger. "Look it fits perfectly."
~~~
She felt nervous as he tried on the ring. She liked them a lot and she wanted them to be right and her hand was shaking a little as she held it out for him to slide the rings on. She exhaled a relieved breath when they fit, a smile forming upon her face. "Oh my god, we're totally gonna do this!!!" She squealed, flinging arms around his neck and kissing him deeply. She pulled back with a gasp and exclaimed, "I need to get a dress!!!"
~~~
Trevor was nervous too but he did his best not to show it to anyone and then suddenly he had his arms full of charlie and he laughed. "We totally are! and of course you need a dress." Trevor would get married in his hoodie he didn't care as much as she did about how he looked.
~~~
"Okay, okay. Let's.. pay for the rings." She slipped the band off of her finger and nudged him to do the same. "We can't wear these yet. But I can wear this one now, right? Since we're engaged?" She smled over at him. "And then we can go find out when they can fit us in and I can go get a dress and then we can meet and..." She smiled, biting her lower lip. "We'll do it. We'll get married. And I will be... Mrs. Trevor Reid." She squealed. "This is crazy. Isn't it? Totally insane!" She laughed softly. "I love you so much!"
~~~
Trevor nodded and paid for the rings and then took the bands back. "Yep you can wear the diamond until we get married then we put the bands on..." He bit his own lip and then laughed as he agreed with her. "OH yeah this is insane but perfect because i love you!"
~~~
"The grown ups are gonna freak," she giggled, and then laced her fingers with his own. "But I don't care. I'm never as happy any other time than I am when I'm with you." She smiled, leaning up to kiss him again before waving at the sales girl who gave them a smile, happily counting her commission in her head. It wasn't a very long walk across the way to the chapel which was an experience in and of itself. Anything you wanted, they could make it happen. If you wanted to be married wearing nothing at all, they'd do that too. But Charlie was actually a pretty traditional sort of girl. She just wanted the white dress, the veil, and some pretty flowers. That's all. Of course this was Trevor's wedding too so the decision as to what type of ceremony they wanted was a mutual one.
~~~
"Fuck Rez is gonna lose his shit at me for it but whatever." He chewed on his lip as they walked out, going to where charlie needed to go. He followed her into the stores she wanted to go into.The ceremony didn't interest him all that much.
~~~
"He'll get over it. They both will. I mean.. they have to, right?" Charlie gave a small shrug of her shoulders. "We're good together. And more importantly, we're happy together so..." Hopefully this wouldn't cause too much of an explosion. After arranging for the ceremony, which was going to take place in just under an hour, Charlie set off in search of the perfect dress. She didn't want a full on wedding gown, just something cute and flirty and very her. Simple but elegant. And of course she didn't let him see her in it! He'd have to wait until she walked down the short aisle in the chapel. The time flew by and, before she knew it, they were in seperate rooms getting ready, having picked Trevor up just a suit jacket to wear over his existing clothes, and the time was growing ever nearer.
~~~
“Yeah they will have to get over it, I mean they can’t force us to annul it or anything…I don’t think.” Trevor chewed on his lip and then smiled softly at her. “I am always happy when I’m wirh you.” He said with a grin and then got pulled along to arrange everything and he had to sit and wait while Charlie went to get her dress. At least he wore semi decent jeans today, only a couple rips in them.
~~~
"I.. hope not." Of course since Riley was technically her guardian, if he wanted to, he could end it but... he wouldn't do that. This was what she wanted. Trevor was who she wanted. And Riley never denied her anything she wanted as long as it didn't hurt her, and this wouldn't. Of course now that that thought was in her head, she was even more nervous, though the dress, which was beautiful and vintage, made her feel far less nervous. Once she had it on, she knew that this was it, she was ready. And now she was just waiting for the sign that it was time.
~~~
Trevor was waiting inside the little chapel, waiting for charlie to change and come down the aisle. He knew when the piano started up that she was on her way and he was a bit shocked that he was really feeling nervous, what if she changed her mind and what if Rez and Riley disapproved so much they had to get an annulment. He tried to shove it out of his mind and then sighed nervously as he waited.
~~~
The sound of the piano was her signal. Charlie closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then she headed out of the small room and began the walk down the aisle. He looked so handsome, shuffling nervously. She smiled, eyes glistening slightly with emotion. This was perfect, almost perfect. It would have been even better if her family was here but... Whatever. She made her way to the front to stand in front of him, reaching her hands out to take hold of his own.
~~~
Trevor thought he was going to choke on his heart as it rose in his throat, he was way more nervous than he thought he was. When the piano started he looked up and smiled when he saw Charlie, she looked beautiful and he just wasn't so nervous anymore. He took her hands and kissed them, looking at the official when he spoke.
~~~
The vows were pretty simple, just the basics. For richer and poorer, in sickness and in health, til do you part, that sort of thing. Charlie could feel tears welling up in her eyes as Trevor repeated after the man. And then it was her turn. She repeated them all when she was prompted, her hands trembling a bit as Trevor held them, her mouth dry and her heart racing so fast she thought she might be sick from it. This was really happening. This mad and crazy idea was really happening and.. it was intense and amazing. Her hand shook when it came time for the ring, holding it out for Trevor to slide the gleaming band on her finger as he made the promise that the ring entailed.
~~~
Trevor said all his vows and slid that ring on Charlie’s finger and smiled as he held up his own hand. This was a mad, crazy idea but for him it was kinda perfect. He loved this girl in a way he never knew existed and just looking at her now with the emotions so obviously on her face was just intense for him. Instead of just thinking what an emotional girl he was glad that she was this happy about the whole thing. It was over before he even knew it, all they had to do was sign the license and it would be done…he couldn’t even believe it.
~~~
Charlie's hands were still shaking even after she had taken the ring from him to slide onto his finger and had put it in place. It was done. It was official. And all that was left to do was... "You may kiss your bride." Charlie giggled at the sound of that, blushing ever so slightly and then she allowed herself to be pulled in for that kiss that sealed the deal completely, humming softly against his lips as a hand moved up to entangle her fingers in his hair.
~~~
Trevor ran up the hall with Charlie, laughing. They had won more money and the car after the wedding and now came the best part of the whole night in his opinion…next to getting married of course. He stopped outside the door and opened it, pushing the door in. “Wait.” He said before Charlie could go in. He lifted her up and carried her through the doorway. “It’s not our house but it is for now.” He said softly as he kissed her before putting Charlie down.
~~~
This night had been epic. First, the road trip was awesome, complete with the rest stop and all. Then there was the pier and the money and the wedding and more money and then they won a car and got put up into this amazing hotel room, the honeymoon suite to be precise, and this was seriously the BEST day ever. She couldn't imagine any day ever being better than this one had been. "What?" Charlie asked when he told her to wait, and then she giggled when he picked her up. "So romantic." She nibbled on his neck and ear when he carried her inside, unable to stop herself from smiling. "Oh my god, you're my husband and I am your wife! It's crazy!!"
~~~
They had a good chunk of money now, they could get a place of their own if they wanted, but Trevor knew for Mara’s sake it was better if they didn’t. He laughed as she nibbled at him and then kissed her after putting her down. “I try to be romantic when I can.” He said with a grin and then spun her around as she spoke. “I know It’s just fucking insane! And I love it!”
~~~
"You're good at it," Charlie remarked, a smile full upon her lips. The twirl made her giggle again and she sighed, looking at him with complete and utter adoration upon her face. "It is. And I love it too. I do. Mrs. Trevor Reid...." She giggled. "Charlotte Reid." She wiggled her brows. "Sounds so grown up!" She tugged him toward her and grinned. "And you. You're so fucking sexy. I am so crazy about you. And now I get to like... have you all the time, any time I want you, and tell everybody about how sexy my husband is." She pressed a kiss against his lips and hummed softly. "Mmm, love it."
~~~
Trevor grinned and then watched her as she expressed how happy she was, going where she pulled him. "Fuck does it ever...kinda weird but so awesome too." He said with a laugh and then kissed her again. "I'm crazy about you too Red, everyone is going to be so jealous of how hot we are together." Trevor joked and then pulled her onto the bed, holding her tightly.
~~~
"Or you could always be Mr. Trevor Edwards." She wriggled her brows at him and giggled. "Take my name instead." She smirked. "Oh yeah, soooo jealous." She nipped at his lips. "We'll be the total envy of... everyone!" She grinned, a laugh parting her lips as she was pulled down onto the bed, cuddling into his embrace. "I love you," she whispered softly. "So, so much." She pressed a few soft kisses against his neck. "This has been the most perfect day ever, Trevor."
~~~
Trevor scrunched his nose and shook his head. "No, sorry babe I'm not taking your name." He licked his lips and then cuddled her back. "I love you too...and today couldn't have been more perfect...but we will have to drive home tomorrow, we can't miss class and get married." He snorted and then started laughing, amusing himself greatly.
~~~
"Already?" Charlie pouted. "But.. but.. I wanna stay here loooonger, like.. for days and days.. for ages." She nuzzled her nose against his own. "Right here in this room, in this bed..." She quirked a brow slightly and added, "Naked?"
~~~
Trevor nodded and kissed her hands. "I'm sorry Red but you know we only have this weekend." He said with a pout and then kissed her again. "Mmm naked we can do though, I wouldn't mind that at all."
~~~
"Nuh uh. We don't have just this weekend. We have forever... husband." Charlie smiled, nuzzling her nose against his own. "Can we stay that way? Like.. until we have to leave here?" She paused and then added, "And ooohhh, we still have to do the ferris wheel thing. Before we leave."
~~~
Trevor sighed happily and nodded at her. "We do have forever, wife." He said with a grin. "Hmm yes naked is preferable, let's stay that way." He said and then looked at her. "Yes the ferris wheel, we can do that right before we leave."
~~~
"I like the sound of that." Charlie smiled. "It's a good four letter word. Kinda like fuck." She wiggled her brows with a grin. "But before we get all naked, did you like my dress?" She gave him a soft pout. "Is it pretty? Did I take your breath away?"
~~~
"Mmm it is kinda like that." He said softly and then laughed when she wiggled her eyebrows. "Charlie, babe you were breath taking in that dress, I mean you're beautiful you know that but in that dress I mean you looked like an angel...so beautiful....I couldn't breathe when I saw you. I couldn't even believe that it was real."
~~~
"What about if we put the two words together?" She quirked a brow slightly. "Fuck and wife?" Her lips curled into a bit of a smile. Of course that smile turned shy and she blushed a bit when he started talking about how she looked in the dress. "I still can't believe it's real. It seems so surreal, you know?" She laced her hand with his and then pushed them out to where she could look at the rings on both their fingers.
~~~
Trevor smiled at her when she put the words together and then nipped at her neck when she blushed. "It really does seem surreal thats for sure." He said said as he let her lace their fingers together. Trevor smiled at the rings and laid a kiss on them.
~~~
"I never thought that.. that I would ever do this," Charlie remarked. "Fall in love, get married..." She exhaled a breath, getting a bit emotional just because this was a big thing. It was HUGE. "I always thought that was the sort of thing that normal girls did and since I wasn't... normal then... it would never happen." She smiled, shifting her gaze to meet Trevor's own. "You are the light at the end of a very long, very dark tunnel."
~~~
Trevor bit his lip and nodded slightly. "Yeah..I didn't think I would have it either. I mean I didn't think about it as much as maybe you did but I did think about it and yeah I...I was pretty sure it wasn't going to happen." He looked into her eyes and then smiled at her. "I will always be that light Charlie, I will always be here."
~~~
"Always?" Charlie asked in a soft voice, and then she leaned up to seize his lips in a soft yet deep kiss. "I think I'm ready to get naked now," she whispered when she pulled away and then nipped at his lower lip. "I wanna make love to my husband." She giggled and then added, "This is so totally our honeymoon now, isn't it?"
~~~
Trevor nodded at her question and lost himself a little in the kiss. "Mmm yeah I am too." He growled into her ear and then blushed slightly when she said she wanted to make love to her husband. The words were just so different. "Yeah it is."
