The look on Blake's face was pretty priceless, and Godric couldn't supress the chuckle that bubbled in his throat as he took his candy back from Blake and popped a few more into his mouth. Why had he never indulged in candy before?
"All I mean," he began to explain, still walking, "is that we love each other, right? I don't plan on leaving you, I'm pretty certain that you don't plan on leaving me, although we both know that you could do better, but..." Waving a hand, he dismissed the thought. It wasn't the point. "If we're going to just be together, then why not put it on paper? Imagine if we were going on a trip somewhere and we didn't have Wesley? If something were to happen to you, I'd like to be able to come see you in a hospital. And if something happened to me, I'd want you to have my house. I'd want you to have my money, so you wouldn't need to worry about anything anymore, and I know you'd take care of all the foundlings. I just makes sense." Turning to finally look at Blake, he added with a smirk, "And if I do something particularly horrible and careless to you, I'd like to think that you should be able to leave me and take half of my stuff with you. You desreve at least that."
