Nodding, keeping quiet (as he often did), Godric made a note that Riley seemed all too keen to divulge the details and woes of his confusing love life, but seemed to have nothing to say in regards to his brother. In Godric's experience, which was quite a lot, the topic a person spoke least about was the one that bothered them the most. He also knew, however, that addressing it directly proved a useless tactic.
"I see." Mulling this information over a bit, and feeling his body warm just slightly from the alcohol, Godric poured himself another shot. He let this one stay in the glass awhile, the cogs in his mind turning. "Well," he said after a brief while, "as a psychiatrist, I'm sure I don't have to tell you what it all indicates. You've probably thought it over many times." Actually, Godric was pretty certain that Riley didn't know what it all indicated. People in Riley's position, those whose very life was to decipher and analyze other peoples problems, rarely could see their own plainly. Godric knew this because he was in the very same boat.
