She was glad to know that Cassandra's ability had come back to her and nodded a little, relieved. "Good. Still, temporary or not, it is scary." Arc returned the hug with the same amount of passion and brushed some hair away from her friend's face. "You're welcome. I'm your friend. As cheesy as it sounds, I'm always going to be here for you, okay?" Unless something terrible happened to break the two of them apart, but she doubt it would. They had the kind of relationship that would bounce back from anything, she was sure of it. Arc had confidence in them and she met Cassandra's eyes with an earnest look.
"You're right, snakes aren't my favorite animal but you deserve to have something that gives you unconditional love. Besides me." She grinned at Cassandra briefly before they reached the pet store. "I appreciate the confidence you have in me." There really was something wonderful about having friends and she was happy to be with Cassandra now. Worrying about her friend for now was a good distraction from thinking about Caitlin, but she hoped things would work out in that respect. No, nothing else would go wrong... she hoped. Oh yes, she hoped. Once they were inside the store, Arc started to browse the shelves and admired the fish, then focusing on the rabbits to the right of her. They were cute, but she prefered something less messy.
