"I can't... argue. I wasn't here when that rule was in place, so I'm not really sure. No one's given me much trouble though." McKenna hadn't encouraged any students to be more than friendly; she was plenty friendly, but she didn't cross a mental line that she'd made for herself.
"Poor Charlie. Cold bugging you?" It didn't bother her so much; she was laughing as she teased him. Then she looked down at herself, her tone now rueful because she knew exactly where his brain might go. "I didn't exactly dress to go hot-tubbing."
