Frankie's life was all sorts of crazy as well. She still wasn't sure what to make of everything that had happened with Lyle, and it was one of the few things she had not discussed with Lucas. Usually, she was so open with him. She told him everything about her night with Wes, and offered more enjoyable details about Jay. But she felt odd telling him about Lyle, and she wasn't sure why. Maybe because she'd told Lyle before things got physical that she'd keep it a secret.
All that aside, she was really trying to keep up her 'no expectations' promise. As much as she really did hope she and Lucas could be something more than friends who shared a date, she tried not to dwell on it. If it happened, it happened. She just needed to learn to enjoy the moment and stop worrying about the future. Besides, she was dating other people now, and that changed things slightly.
Frankie finished with her mascara and put the tube down. Immediately after, she hopped up and gave him a tight squeeze. "Thank you. You look handsome as always." She pulled back and tapped on the brim of his fedora. "Love the hats. They suit you very well." Having caused his tie to contort slightly when she hugged him, Frankie fixed it promptly. "So where are we going? Am I dressed alright? I can change if not."
