Frankie laughed some more along with Jay. "You should totally learn.. though, I think your threat was pretty convincing, and I'm guessing plenty of guys here would believe you. Fear is probably enough to make them behave."
Jay's kind words were almost enough to make Frankie cry. Her eyes got a little misty, so she moved to grab her wine again. Now wasn't the time to discuss all the adoption drama and Frankie's insecurities about that. She'd shared enough of her shit for one evening. "Thanks," she said softly.
"I know what that's like," Frankie said with a sigh before taking another sip. Well, maybe she'd end up dragging some more skeletons out of the closet after all. "I have a younger sister I only just learned about in the past year. Kindle. She grew up with our birth parents. It's.. not easy. Things between us are strained sometimes. I love her though." She looked at Jay carefully. "There's no rush in telling them. Wait until you're ready. It's a lot to deal with."
