"Yeah, he pretty much is," Rez said under his breath, soft enough that only Lily would hear him. Of course he knew that wasn't how she'd meant it, but that was how he meant it. Rez would never like James. Ever. If he lived a million years, he would never be able to stand that smug son of a butches face. He pulled Lily closer to him, wrapping his arms protectively around her as he glared at the other man.
"Hey," James said in greeting as he moved up behind Fisher, eyes on the pair of people that the man had been talking to. He slipped arms around him, hands moving to rest atop of those familiar burn marks that marred his skin. "I've been looking for you." He pressed a kiss to his temple and then added in his most cool tone possible, "Hello, Rez. Lovely seeing you again."
