Shizuka blushed about as red as her pale cheeks would let her. She wasn't expecting someone to flat out call her an angel, and by the look on the woman's face, it was... a flattering kind of expression. Like she was in awe or something. Shizuka didn't know what it was like to actually see the people she helped that often and... it filled Shizuka with a little bit of pride and confidence.
She grinned a little, reached down and grabbed the girl's hand, pulling her a little further from the river. "You're safe now, though. As long as you think you're safe, we should be fine." Shizuka said, not even sure why she was trying to explain the mechanics of this dream. No one ever seemed to heed those kinds of warnings or remember them in the morning, but, maybe it was just because she wanted to think she was helping.
