Frankie felt the same way. She loved the sun and being warm. Vampires were cold. It was one of the little things about Nathaniel that didn't set well with her. She liked the feeling of a warm body wrapped around her. But Nathaniel had always appreciated the heat she generated, and that made her feel needed. Ugh, she thought about him way too much. Maybe if she stopped wearing the engagement ring around her neck, she'd get over it, but she couldn't let it go since things ended with Fox. It was semi-comforting to know that there had been a man who actually loved her once. He was the only one, but he was a good one.
"Sure," Frankie replied easily. She pulled her legs up, now that they no longer hurt, and crossed them after she spun a little to let him get a better look. "Sometimes I feel like I'm eight months pregnant with the way everyone wants to touch them.. although people don't usually ask pregnant women before rubbing the belly, which is so totally rude!"
