It was clear that she didn't get it, but that was okay. She didn't have to. It was food for thought and that was really all that it was. It was good to think for yourself though. He always had tried to even when he was a little kid. Of course that was why he was grown up now too so... he still didn't know how well that had worked out for him.
"Yeah, true." Devon glanced over at her and smiled. And then he looked forward, the oncoming looming darkness of the tunnel sending a slight shiver up and down his spine that had nothing to do with the cold. "If I like.. freak out or something, just ignore me or whatever. I'll be okay just... We should move quick." He lowered his voice as he added, "Sometimes when they realize I can see them, they start following me because they want me to like.. do things for them or whatever and I really hate that."
