There were so many flavors, it was hard not to like it. There were comforting, warm flavors, and cold new flavors, things with zip and deep things and light things and it was just... it was an overload. She hummed, deeply, closing her eyes a moment to savor. Human food was not bad food. It was nothing close to a raw steak, but it was something.
Within two minutes, her sandwich was gone, and June swallowed the last bite down. "Thank you," she said softly, her hands folded in her lap. "It was very sufficient."
