Nox had no idea if June would enjoy the sandwich. Hound palates were less developed, and many of them shied away from anything less than raw, bleeding, still warm flesh. But he'd seen Malakai eating regular meals, and June had been out of Hell and among humans long enough that she'd been exposed to their cooking. Perhaps she'd enjoy it.
When he returned with the water, he looked at her cautiously. He wasn't quite sure what she'd said, but it seemed to be positive. He chuckled and gave a little nod. "I'm glad you like it." Nox took a seat then and dug into his own sandwich. He was a bit more reserved in his consumption, but he enjoyed it just as much. The flavors were complex and well married. And the hot egg made it all so much better. Dogs always seemed to enjoy eggs and cheese, so he felt confident she'd like those ingredients.
