Human or not, there was an underlying need in any race that was even remotely human like for companionship. Even demons felt it, so that had to be saying something. So it wasn't a surprise that the both of them had been hit and hit hard, though Will harder than Syn. It was normal, natural, and they would both make it through it.
Pulled into the other man's lap, Syn closed his eyes and exhaled a soft sigh. Yes, he emoted so much, felt things so deeply, especially this, especially where Will was concerned. The other man's words made him laugh a little though as he stroked fingers through Will's hair and then leaned down to press a kiss against the top of his head. "If I only knew how, I would in a heartbeat." Though it didn't escape his notice that he'd said he was already halfway there. And Syn took this as an invitation to move his hands down to Will's face, tilting his head up so that he could press a soft kiss against his lips.
