Re: Mandy/Wes/Kimmi/Bill [living room]
Even though Roger was mentioned indirectly Wes felt that hard lurch in his chest and he was glad that Mandy wasn't looking at him. He found it a struggle to keep the emotion from his face and his eyes were watering. He needed to swallow it down. Sniffling up his nose after watching the very interesting ceiling he managed to keep hold of himself before he resumed looking at his daughter.
"So if I'm not wrong to not like Bill can you please remind your mother of that incident?" he asked, hoping for help. It made him smile to think of Kimmi going postal over the tall, blonde demon... it would have been their first proper Thanksgiving. Wes shoved that thought aside in order to keep his mood clearer.
If Bill had been able to pout like an adorable eighteen year old girl with her dad's eyes, right back up at Wesley, maybe he'd have gotten somewhere in his speech. As it turned out it was left to Mandy to succeed where Bill had failed and Wes gently tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Anything for you, sweetheart," he smiled softly, then two seconds later had a afterthought. "Within reason. C'mon let's go back into the fucking mad house of no return."
