Re: Mandy/Wes/Kimmi/Bill [living room]
Hell she was kinda like him. Pouty and cute. Kimmi had been right. But that wasn't the point, and he forced himself to take in everything she was saying because he owed her that much. Looking to the floor he appeared to be ashamed of his actions but in fact, he was just understanding them.
"I'm sorry, Mandy." And he truly was. As he looked to her, his brown eyes doe-like, he tried to explain it. "I guess... I'm just jealous. Not only of him but of your Mom. This hasn't been easy and she got engaged at the worst fucking time, an'... maybe in any other occasion I'd be able to deal with it. I... can't get to know him from ten minutes of barely speaking to him and shooting him daggers. I know how much this means to you. It's just... hard for me. I don't deal with shit like this very well anyway, but I'll try harder. For you. Dude seems to be interesting as cardboard so I might fall asleep anyway.." It was a feeble attempt at a joke to lighten the mood and he offered a small smile.
