Re: Mandy/Wes/Kimmi/Bill [living room]
Already, Mandy could tell that this was going to be one of those male pissing contests. And normally she would put them both in their places, but Wes had had a chip on his shoulder when it came to Bill from the very start, and for absolutely no good reason, so she decided he needed to be dealt with first. Besides, Bill was a guest in his house, and Wes should have been less snarky. "Oh, so that's why you've been jealous since January?" Mandy said flatly, rolling her eyes.
"It's okay, Mandy," Bill said warmly, taking his hand back before sitting beside Kimmi on the couch. "I don't need to be bragged about to feel validated." Counter-zing.
"I would hardly call my talking about him glowing," Kimmi protested, a small blush on her cheeks. To Wesley, she added, "I told him you were acting like Mandy when she was ten. Pouty and stubborn."
"True," Bill agreed, slipping his hand into Kimmi's. "But when Mandy pouts she's cute and endearing, so I just assumed..."
"Baaarf," Mandy groaned, leaning back against Wes. "Can you guys like, stop loving me and junk? It's naaasty."
