It wasn't as much an offer as him simply accepting the fact that she was here and it would appear she wasn't going to just take the hint that he wanted to be alone and leave. So now he got to make himself look presentable before he decided to call a cab and go out for the night. He needed a distraction. There were only so many forms he could think of for that to come in.
"It doesn't really matter what I want," Syn replied simply. "What I want isn't what he wants, though it might have been if your brother had stayed in California." Did he sound bitter? A little. But he wasn't as upset about what he wasn't getting as he was about the circumstances that Will was being placed under.
Dropping the eyeliner and giving it up for a moment, he moved to stand in the doorway between the bedroom and bathroom. "You say you know Will well, right?" Fumbling in his pockets, he pulled out and then lit a cigarette. It was a nasty habit, and one he didn't frequently indulge, but now seemed like the right time for it. "So tell me how well you think this is going to work, knowing Will the way you do. Your brother expects him top share him with this.. Fisher person. And in return, Will is supposed to play the faithful little housewife and that... It pisses me off." He exhaled an exasperated sigh before he went back to his makeup, cigarette in one hand while he worked. "I don't even know your brother, but I don't like him. At all."
