Snorting a little, in laughter as well as derision, Penny shook her head, a hand going to rub the back of her neck. "Ah, well yeah, I guess it's good to know what secrets lie within your chambers," she said with a small chuckle. "Most people just kinda flee in terror, so I've never gotten a nickname. Y'know, it's hard to get someone to call on you casually when you're chomping on their bones like breadsticks." She wasn't really sure that she wanted to tell him her name. He'd never expressed any interest in her before, so why would he now? Especially since all they'd done so far was fight. Maybe he was trying to butter her up so she'd tell him her name, and he could report her attitude to the director and get her fired. It seemed unlikely, but possible.
But then why else would he want it? Maybe just to say hi. It wasn't such an outlandish idea, after all. "Once, though, I had these two people who told me they were my parents, and they called me Penny once or twice."
