Rumor had it that Declan, one of the cuter and less fun security guards, was feeling ill. That was sad times. Blue didn't like him very much, but she did know him, and therefore she felt the need to go see him and make him feel well. Maybe they could be friends if he was sick, because sick people tended to be nicer and less strict to people who brought them soup. And Blue was bringing soup, and crackers, and some ginger ale because that was the diet of the sick person.
She knew he couldn't get up and open the door, so she was kind enough to let herself into his apartment, making sure to keep quiet in case he was sleeping. "Hello?" she called softly, looking about. It was a nice space, a little too earthy for her tastes but whatever suited him. Finally she found him, and she gave him a bright, warm grin. "I'm going to help!" she declared, quite certain that her offerings, on top of her outfit, would make him feel much better.
It took a few days, but Wesley finally relented to let Declan out of the infirmary and back to his flat. Declan liked to joke that it was only because Wes hadn't gotten any further with the dryad that he'd wanted him to stay. The worst of the illness had passed, they'd hoped, and Dec seemed to be feeling better but he was still exhausted. Having never been sick before was really doing a number on his body. So with the help of Keely, he'd managed to crawl into his apartment and collapse on the sofa. It was closer to the kitchen and easier to get out of than the bed when he needed to rush to the bathroom. As soon as he'd gotten in, he'd fallen asleep.
And stayed that way uintil he heard someone in his apartment. He thought for a moment it was Keely, coming back to try to care for him, but the voice was different. Far more perky at the moment. Opening his eyes he took in the petite brunette, trying to place her. "Blue, right?"
