Syn considered answering him honestly for a moment, but then he shook his head and replied, "Nothing. Ikon's right. We'll have fun. We always have fun." Of course Syn wasn't sure how much fun he would have considering that he didn't feel like playing tonight. But he could always just observe, keep an eye on things, make sure that nothing got too far out of hand for either of his friends. That's what good friends did, right? And maybe, just maybe, after he got there, he'd be more inclined to enjoy the moment.
"So we're all good now?" Ikon asked from the front seat. He smiled when Syn nodded in the rearview and then took an exit that would lead them into a more seedy part of town to the club that he and Syn had come to the night they'd arrived in town. It was only a few blocks away now.
In an attempt to get himself more in the mood for this, Syn grabbed the bag to touch up his own makeup as well. No one better get too handsy with him tonight, though. He wouldn't tolerate it. Once that was done, his attention went to his attire, a frown pursing his lips as he'd decided that it just wouldn't do. So he ripped the sleeves off of his shirt, exposing his surprisingly muscular yet thin arms. Better, but he wished he'd had more time to prepare.
